Job Responsibilities:
The Production Operator is responsible for retrofitting automotive components according to specific customer requirements. This role supports manufacturing, quality, and delivery goals by ensuring products meet exact customer and safety specifications in a fast‑paced production environment.
Your Tasks
Retrofit and modify automotive components according to customer specifications, work instructions, and engineering change notices.
Assemble, install, or replace parts using hand tools, fixtures, and other production equipment.
Follow standardized work, visual aids, and quality requirements to ensure compliance with customer and internal standards.
Perform inspections and quality checks to verify correct installation and functionality of retrofitted components.
Document production activities and retrofitting completion using shop floor systems or production logs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in accordance with 5S and safety guidelines.
Identify and report defects, non‑conformances, or process issues to team leaders or supervisors.
Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams to support continuous improvement.
Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, repetitive motions, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
Who we are looking for
Fluent in English
Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent
Your preferred qualifications
Strong willingness to learn and develop constantly
Assembly related experience in the automotive industry of 3-5 years
Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
