Overview

We are seeking a skilled Residential Gas Piping Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a dependable professional with hands-on experience installing gas piping systems in new residential construction. The right candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, follows safety standards, and works effectively alongside other trades in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install gas piping systems in new residential construction projects
• Measure, cut, thread, and assemble piping using copper, CSST, and black iron materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Ensure all installations comply with local codes and safety regulations
• Perform pressure testing and inspections to verify system integrity
• Collaborate with builders, inspectors, and other trades on-site
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential gas piping installation
• Strong working knowledge of copper, CSST, and black iron piping systems
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and layouts
• Familiarity with applicable plumbing and gas codes
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
