Lead Sonographer

Wellstar Health System seeks a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services in a patient-centered, collaborative environment. This role performs complex exams, ensures image quality and safety, and supports physicians with accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment. The Lead Sonographer coordinates daily workflow, troubleshoots and maintains equipment, and upholds regulatory and quality standards. They mentor and train staff, promote continuous learning, and contribute to protocol and process improvements. Working across Wellstar facilities, this position helps advance community health with compassionate, high-quality care.
