Key Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic services planned and supervised by the physical therapist, executing treatment protocols effectively and compassionately.
- Utilize state-of-the-art iPad technology for point-of-service documentation to ensure accurate and timely patient records.
- Engage patients and their families in discussions about treatment plans, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Maintain compliance with infection control protocols and adhere to standard precautions during care activities.
- Accept clinical assignments that align with your education and competence, ensuring the highest quality of care.
- Participate in continuing education workshops to meet mandatory requirements and further your expertise.
- Contribute to the overall professional growth of the organization by demonstrating commitment to your role and actively participating in in-service programs.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work primarily with elderly patients, many of whom are recovering from surgeries, chronic conditions, or age-related afflictions. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
- Active and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license.
