We are seeking a compassionate, visionary leader to guide our Herndon, VA school community. Since opening its doors in 2000, Chesterbrook Academy Herndon has been committed to providing exceptional early childhood education to families throughout Reston, Hattontown, Oak Grove, and McNair with a NAEYC-accredited educational experience grounded in academic excellence and genuine care. Your Impact at Chesterbrook Academy

What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 21 years of age and meet one of the following:
- A Master's degree or higher in a child related field such as Elem. Education, Nursing, or Recreation from a college or university AND 6 months of experience
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in a child related field such as Elem. Education, Nursing, or Recreation from a college or university AND 1 year of experience
- 48 semester hours of college credit of which 12 semester hours are in child related subjects AND 1 year of experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience in a licensed childcare center, preschool, or early childhood education program.
- Thorough knowledge of Virigina childcare licensing regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in early childhood education.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, manage daily center operations, support staff performance, and foster a positive learning environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain all required clearances, certifications, and ongoing professional development as required by Virginia regulations.
