The Occupational Therapist will work within an Acute Care OT department, supporting a diverse range of medical and surgical patients, including those in critical care settings such as ICU, as well as patients recovering from strokes, neurological conditions, orthopedic issues, and general debility. The role involves carrying out evaluations, creating treatment plans, and implementing therapy interventions based on physician orders throughout the hospital.ResponsibilitiesConduct evaluations and assessments of patients’ needs and abilities.Create individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders.Implement therapeutic interventions to promote patient recovery and independence.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureA minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Occupational Therapy.Active Georgia state license as an Occupational Therapist.Current AHA BLS certification.Why ARMStaffing?
