Lead Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound imaging and guide a high-performing sonography team. In this on-site role, you will perform complex vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, and small-parts studies, ensure optimal image quality, and uphold safety and infection-control standards. You will coordinate daily workflow, mentor technologists and students, and collaborate with radiologists, providers, and nurses to support timely clinical decisions. As part of Wellstar’s collaborative, patient-focused culture, you’ll help drive quality initiatives, support accreditation, and model compassionate, inclusive care for the community.
