Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol in Salisbury, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, team-focused culture. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking areas, and access points to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify credentials and authorize access in accordance with post orders and applicable procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess an armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
