Position Overview
We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team at Athletics Therapy Center, located in the heart of Manassas, Virginia. Work Environment
This PTA role is set in a well-equipped onsite hospital facility that prioritizes a nurturing atmosphere for both staff and patients. Our state-of-the-art tools and resources empower our therapists to provide the most effective rehabilitative care. You will work a regular schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while contributing to a team dedicated to enriching lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement rehabilitative care plans formulated by licensed Physical Therapists, ensuring adherence to each patient’s unique medical needs and therapy objectives.
- Assist residents with a variety of therapeutic exercises, focusing on mobility training and functional movement techniques to facilitate recovery.
- Regularly assess and document patient progress, effectively communicating findings with the therapy and nursing teams to adapt care strategies when necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on safety protocols and home exercise programs to encourage continuity of care outside of formal rehabilitation sessions.
- Consistently uphold documentation standards while actively participating in interdisciplinary care planning meetings to enhance the quality of care.
- Create a positive and motivating environment that encourages patient engagement, reinforcing optimism and morale during the recovery process.

Qualifications
- Completion of an Associate’s Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- An active Virginia PTA license or eligibility for licensure in the state.
- Strong clinical judgment alongside team collaboration skills to effectively contribute to patient care strategies.
- A genuine passion for senior care and service excellence, demonstrating a commitment to the well-being of patients.
Preferred Experience
- While prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility is advantageous, it is not mandatory. We welcome candidates eager to learn and grow within our team.

Compensation and Benefits
