Responsibilities:
Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.
Qualifications:
Education- Graduate from a nursing program a Registered Nurse (RN) program Required or
- Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) program Required or
- Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) program Required
Work Experience
- 2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Based on type of program completed, one of the follow is required. Upon Hire Required
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required or
- RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Upon Hire Required or
- RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required and
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
- ACLS Upon Hire Required
