Minimum Requirements

Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Alabama state license or eligibility to obtain Alabama licensure prior to the assignment start. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Experience with common skilled nursing equipment and procedures preferred, including gait training, transfers, fall risk assessment, and therapeutic modalities. Willingness to float to other nearby facilities when requested. (Client requires float to Diversicare of Riverchase.)
