**Looking for New Grads into the Emergency Department to start in the February 2027 time frame**

The Emergency Department at Northwest Hospital currently sees over 49,000 patients per year and has 55 beds. The Emergency Department treats major and minor illnesses, typically related to cardiac, stroke and behavioral health. Additionally, staff may provide care for orthopedic injuries or minor trauma. Our rapid care area is designated for minor illnesses. Staff members are outgoing and positive and must utilize strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status and be able to effectively implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms.

Summary:
Under the direction of the unit manager, this role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct age-appropriate clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Pay Range: $37.15 to $57.58 Based On Experience
