Full job description
Pharmacy Technician Location: Memphis, TN 38141 | Onsite COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE • Pay: $20.50 per hour • Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts with possible overtime • Thursday, Friday, Monday: 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM ROLE IMPACT Join a high-volume Central Fill Pharmacy team that helps ensure patients receive accurate and timely prescription medications. In this role, you will support pharmacists through prescription processing, inventory management, automated dispensing operations, and quality-focused workflow execution. Success is measured by accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to pharmacy regulations and safety standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation, dispensing, and Central Fill pharmacy operations. • Operate automated sorting, counting, labeling, and medication filling equipment. • Perform manual prescription entry, medication picking, packing, replenishment, and labeling. • Receive, stock, and organize pharmacy inventory while maintaining accurate inventory records in computer systems. • Clean equipment, complete required documentation, and maintain an organized, compliant work environment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Current Tennessee State Pharmacy Technician License required. • Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy operations experience. • Reliable transportation and ability to work the required four 10-hour schedule with overtime as needed. CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS • Automated pharmacy dispensing, sorting, and counting equipment • Pharmacy inventory management systems • Computer-based prescription processing and data entry systems • Medication labeling and packaging equipment PREFERRED SKILLS • Experience in a Central Fill or high-volume pharmacy environment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to prescription accuracy. • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced production setting.
