How you’ll make an impact in this role
Guided Care Execution: Implement, monitor, and document evidence-based patient care plans under structured guidance.
Proactive Monitoring: Record and communicate critical shifts in patient conditions directly to the supervising Registered Nurse and care team.
Collaborative Practice: Input and execute physician and nursing orders under the direct supervision of an RN preceptor.
Clinical Competency Development: Actively engage in transition-to-practice programs to rapidly refine critical thinking and clinical judgment.
Person-Centered Advocacy: Deliver safe, high-quality, and empathetic care tailored to individual patient needs.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Certification specializing in Chemotherapy preferred.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
- 1 year experience preferred
