Driver/Shop Helper

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver/Shop Helper to join our team. This dual role involves driving company vehicles to deliver products and assisting in the shop with various tasks. The ideal candidate should have a good driving record, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving Duties:

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers and vendors.
• Capable of planning and following efficient routes using maps and navigation tools to minimize delivery times
• Load and unload products, ensuring they are secure during transport.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, conducting regular inspections.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and communicate any issues to management.

Shop Helper Duties:

• Assist with receiving and organizing inventory.
• Help maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Support shop staff with various tasks, such as assembling products, preparing orders, and performing basic maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and assist in maintaining a safe workplace.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is a plus.
• Previous experience in a delivery or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Must be ITAR compliant. (Granted US Citizenship) (Lawful permanent resident in the US) (Granted the status of “protected person”) (An employee of the US government)
• Successful candidates will be required to pass a substance screening prior to employment.
