Position Overview
Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. This full-time position focuses on collaborating with licensed Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality patient care and implement individualized therapeutic plans aimed at restoring mobility and enhancing the quality of life for our patients.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team that includes Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. The facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic technology and resources, enabling effective treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, your day-to-day tasks will involve:
- Assisting Physical Therapists in developing and executing personalized treatment plans that enhance mobility, strength, and functionality.
- Guiding patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises, stretches, and functional activities, ensuring proper technique to facilitate recovery.
- Educating patients on safe body mechanics and effective home exercise programs for continuous improvement outside of therapy sessions.
- Administering therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.
- Monitoring and documenting patients' progress meticulously, including tracking key indicators such as range of motion and strength improvements.
- Preparing treatment areas before sessions, ensuring all equipment and supplies are organized and readily accessible.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to refine treatment plans and optimize patient outcomes.
- Providing emotional support and motivation to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, encouraging a positive atmosphere.
- Upholding ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality, and respecting patients' rights and privacy.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological disorders, chronic pain conditions, and age-related physical challenges. As a PTA, you will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, tailoring interventions that address their specific recovery goals and functional capacity.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
- An Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- A valid state license or certification in the state of Nevada.
- A strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic interventions pertinent to physical therapy practices.
- Proficiency in executing therapeutic exercises and modalities under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective rapport with patients and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience
While not required, candidates with experience in a rehabilitation setting, especially with a background in orthopedics, sports therapy, or pediatric care, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities and electronic medical records (EMR) systems is also a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
