Full job description
Our client, in the Food Chemistry Testing Industry, is seeking an Associate Analytical Chemist to join their team. As an Associate Analytical Chemist, you will be part of the Laboratory Support team supporting Food Chemistry Testing. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Associate Analytical Chemist
Location: Battle Creek, MI
Pay Range:
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm
What's the Job?
- Apply GMP/GLP standards in all areas of responsibility to ensure compliance and quality.
- Learn to conduct routine analyses independently using advanced laboratory instrumentation such as UPLC, HPLC, GC, and LCMS.
- Document work accurately, maintaining detailed study records and laboratory documentation.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to team discussions and planning.
- Perform peer review of data to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant scientific field (laboratory experience may substitute for a degree).
- Relevant laboratory experience or training will be considered.
- Authorization to work in the United States without restrictions.
- Ability to work with potentially hazardous materials and food allergens.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
