Position Overview
General Surgeons of Gwinnett is seeking a General Surgeon to join an established surgical group.

Practice Highlights

• Join a well-established, multi-physician general surgery group

• Opportunity to build a busy elective surgical practice

• Access to both Northside Hospital Duluth and Northside Hospital Gwinnett

• Robotic surgery platforms available at both campuses

• Outpatient surgery center located on the Gwinnett campus

• No responsibility for trauma or breast surgery call

• Hospital Location: Northside Hospital Duluth & Northside Hospital Gwinnett

• Clinic Location: Snellville, GA

• Group: General Surgeons of Gwinnett

Surgical Scope
Practice includes bread-and-butter general surgery with Preferred clinical interests in Endocrine surgery (thyroid/parathyroid) and/or Foregut surgery a plus.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery

• Laparoscopic training & Robotic surgery experience required

• 3 Years+ post residency required

• Comfortable building up a new practice location - Snellville, GA

• Strong interest in building a long-term practice are also welcome.

• Have an active GA medical license or the ability to obtain one.

About Northside Hospital Gwinnett

Northside Hospital Gwinnett is undergone a major campus expansion to meet the healthcare needs of the rapidly growing Gwinnett community. The hospital added a new patient tower and medical office building , part of a multi-hundred-million-dollar investment designed to significantly expand clinical capacity and services.

The new tower will add hundreds of additional inpatient beds , bringing total hospital capacity to approximately 700+ beds, making it the largest hospital within the Northside system .
