Provide administrative and research support to the Licensing team to maintain operational licenses and permits across the company’s multi‑state footprint.
- Support timely renewals, payments, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure accurate records in company’s licensing database system, Avalara License Management (ALM)
- Research, monitor, and update state/local licensing requirements impacting store operations and other business activities.
- Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
- Support Licensing Specialists on daily licensing tasks and special projects, as instructed.
- Perform other tasks, as needed.
- Associate degree or a minimum of 2 years related experience.
- Related experience in accounting, tax, real estate, compliance, legal support/paralegal, or title/mortgage operations preferred.
- Highly organized; strong attention to detail and time management
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively; exercise sound judgment and escalate as needed
- Prioritize and adapt to changing demands; manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain urgency
