You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Working collaboratively with facility staff, you will help create a welcoming environment while demonstrating the agility, reliability, innovation, caring culture, teamwork, and integrity that define Allied Universal.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and medical facility emergencies in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in required reports.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and follow all applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies related to armed duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
