Job Description:

Performs other duties as assigned. Assists with patient positioning in the operating room. Transports blood, supplies, and equipment as required in Surgical Services. Assists with stocking of supplies in the Surgery area. Ensures all tasks are completed efficiently to support the surgical team and maintain a sterile environment. Delivers specimens to the lab and obtains blood for transfusions. Secures supplies and equipment from other departments within the facility. Provides assistance under the guidance of a licensed surgical team member. Provides safe transport of patients to and from the Surgical Services Department. Handles room turnover tasks including trash removal, equipment cleaning, linen removal, sweeping, mopping, and bed preparation for the next surgical patient.

  • Associate Preferred
  • High School Grad or Equiv Required
  • Technical/Vocational School Preferred
