Installation Project Manager III

Our client, a leading telecommunications and fiber services organization, is seeking an Installation Project Manager III to join their team. As an Installation Project Manager III, you will be part of the Business Services Operations team supporting cross-functional installation, engineering, provisioning, and customer support teams. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent customer communication abilities, and exceptional problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Installation Project Manager III
Location: Remote / Field-Based (Travel as Required)
Remote (must be able to support customers nationwide; company has a presence in CA, TX, NH, MN, PA, IL etc)
Pay Range: $50-65/hr Based on Experience

What’s the Job?

• Manage multiple complex telecommunications service installations simultaneously, serving as the primary customer liaison from order receipt through project completion.
• Develop, maintain, and execute project plans and schedules using tools such as Salesforce, Prism, M6, Netcracker, and GANTT charts.
• Coordinate internal teams, vendors, service providers, and customers to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
• Oversee service testing, issue resolution, turn-up activities, and successful delivery of voice, data, cloud, and fiber-based solutions.
• Provide customer training, installation documentation, and ongoing support resources to ensure a positive customer experience.

What’s Needed?

• 5-7+ years of project management experience in telecommunications, network services, fiber deployments, or related technical environments.
• Strong knowledge of telecommunications products and services including Fiber, Voice, SIP, PRI, WAN, Data Services, Cloud Services, and Data Center solutions.
• Experience with project planning, GANTT chart development, order management, service requests, vendor coordination, and number porting processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; PMP certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management systems.
