4 - 7 patient encounters per shift; 5 - 10 admissions
Inpatient electrophysiology setting
Average 6 - 8 patients seen; 6 - 8 average phone consults
Pacemakers, ICDs, ablations, and inpatient EP required
Call ratio: 1:4 -- 30-minute call response time required
Rounding: both
Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
