You'll promote their health, safety, and well-being, and serve as their advocate every step of the way.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Plan and guide clients through their daily routines, as outlined in their Individual Program Plan</li><li>Assist clients with personal care and bathroom needs</li><li>Help clients change clothing or undergarments as needed</li><li>Prepare daily meals and assist with cleanup</li><li>Transport clients to and from their home or facility in company vehicles, as needed</li></ul><hr><h2>What You'll Need</h2><ul><li>Direct Support Professional Certificate, Year 1 & Year 2 (preferred, or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire)</li><li>Current First Aid/CPR and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification</li><li>Minimum age of 21</li><li>Valid California Driver's License</li><li>Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements, including a background check</li></ul><hr><h2>Physical Requirements</h2><ul><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions</li></ul><hr><h2>Work Location</h2><p>This is an on-site position; remote work is not available.</p><hr><p><strong>Apply today:</strong> <a rel="noopener" href="https://jobs.dayforcehcm.com/en-US/redwood/CANDIDATEPORTAL" target="_blank">Redwood Careers Portal</a></p><br/><br/><p>Providing Excellent Support and Advocacy </p><!--_dfFormat_=html-->PandoLogic.
