Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• No current placement allowed at Program: Nashville General Hospital - Direct.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to read Telemetry strips.

Required Credentials: Travelers will be tested prior to orientation on arrhythmia readings and heparin distribution. Failure to pass will cause for cancellation of the contract.

Unit/Facility Details: Facility is able to cancel 1 shift every four weeks during contract. Charge or preceptor may be required and will be reflected on the HCP’s timesheet.

Floating Requirements: Floating is required within the candidate’s scope of practice.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or the alternative certification MAB

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
