Emergency Medicine Physician
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 Pay Rate: $266.75 - $288.75
This facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Annual volume: Approximately 70,000 visits/year
Physician shift times: 6a-6p, 6p-6a
NP/PA Coverage: Yes; APPs expected for surge support
Back-up specialties available: Multi-specialty consultant support and trauma surgeons available 24/7
EMR: Meditech
Certifications required: American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), must have an active Texas License and Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA).

Facility Location
This city is a busy port on Texas’ Gulf Coast and home to Charles Brown the former American Blues singer. There is also a petrochemical manufacturing center and a petroleum refining center located on the outskirts of the city, where a major explosion in 1947 almost demolished Texas City itself. The Moore Memorial Public Library and The Texas City Museum are some of the sites that visitors go to get inspired.
