Job Description
The Department Assistant, Radiology, supports the Radiology team acting as the film librarian and providing receptionist duties for the department.
Hours for this part-time position are Tuesday - Friday 8 a.m. - 12 noon.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining accurate, efficient and up to date film library records
Files permanent medical records
Track outside films/images that come in
Serves as a receptionist for the department including greeting visitors, answer departmental phone and taking messages
Serves as a point of contact for patients and their families providing information and resources
Maintains confidentiality
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma / GED
1 years administrative experience
Basic/Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Suite of products
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year experience in a clinic or hospital setting
