Orthopedic Surgery — Johnson Memorial Health #3817

  • Full-time
  • Call – 1:3 office call
  • 7 ER calls/monthly
  • Community need

  • Orthopedics practice is growing with a current annual visit total over 8,000 visits
  • Full digital X-ray equipment in the office

  • Fully staffed department, ancillary, and nursing staff in the office and OR

Orthopedic Surgery - Major Health Partners #3994

  • Professional & Technical Skills
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship training in joint replacement (preferred but not required)
  • Active or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Indiana
  • Provide comprehensive general orthopedic care
  • Perform hip and knee joint replacement surgeries
  • Diagnose and manage fractures and other acute injuries
  • Participate in shared ED call coverage
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care

  • Clinic 2 days/ week, OR 2 days/ week, and off 1 day
  • Take call every 5th weekend and 1 day each weekday. The non-operative doctors will reach out to the surgeons if they feel there is a surgical situation, but it is rare that someone has to physically come into the hospital while on call. Most of it is done virtually or by phone.
