About Us
Our mission is to improve people’s health by making it easy to live a healthy lifestyle.
Nourish is the country's largest dietitian-led metabolic health clinic. We’re an AI-native digital health system matching patients with 10,000+ Registered Dietitians, physicians, medications, lab testing, and AI agents to deliver insurance-covered care across all 50 states. Founded four years ago, we've completed millions of appointments, tripled year-over-year, and partnered with health plans covering 200M+ Americans across 250+ health systems.
In 2026 we raised a $100M Series C, bringing total funding to $215M. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, BoxGroup, Atomico, Daybreak, and Operator Partners.

This is not a job for everyone. We hold an extremely high bar because we believe talent density is our biggest competitive advantage. We're looking for people who actively choose hard, ambiguous problems, who run toward unglamorous work, give and receive candid feedback, and bring relentless resilience without the ego. Our work is important, but we are not self-important. We do this because we’re solving one of the hardest problems in the world, and the problem matters. If that's you, we disproportionately reward it.
About the Role
As Director of Corporate Strategy, you'll own the systems that translate company strategy into execution. This role sits at the center of how Nourish operates. You'll own the company's operating system — from OKRs to executive operating cadence, business reviews, board meetings, and company communications — while leading a centralized S&O team deployed against the company's highest-impact priorities.
The scope of this role is intentionally broad and dynamic. As a generalist operator, you'll work across the business to identify and solve the company's highest-priority challenges, which will evolve based on business needs. Success in this role requires the ability to quickly build context, prioritize effectively, and bring structure and execution to ambiguous problems.
You'll report to the Head of Corporate Strategy and partner closely with the CEO and executive team. This is a true player-coach role: you'll personally lead many of the company's highest-priority initiatives while building and developing a team of exceptional generalist operators capable of solving problems across every part of the business.
This role is full-time and open to NYC-based candidates only (expectation to work in-person 3-4 days per week, with some remote flexibility). Our office is located in Gramercy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve Nourish’s operating system: Design and run the company-wide systems and processes that drive alignment and execution, including OKRs, business reviews, All Hands, executive operating cadence, and strategic communications.
- Translate company vision and strategy into execution: Partner with the Head of Corporate Strategy and CEO to translate company priorities into clear plans, ensure teams are aligned around the highest-impact work, and create the operating mechanisms to execute.
- Lead centralized surge resourcing: Build and manage a team of exceptional generalist operators deployed against the company’s highest-priority problems. Identify where the business needs additional leverage, provide resourcing, and personally lead ambiguous cross-functional initiatives.
- Partner with leaders across the business: Serve as a strategic partner to functional leaders, helping teams solve complex problems, make better decisions, and execute more effectively.
- Partner with the executive team on company-level decisions: In partnership with Strategic Finance, support board materials, strategic planning, fundraising, capital allocation, resource prioritization, and other critical decisions that shape the direction and growth of the business.
- Strengthen and scale the Corporate Strategy team: Help develop the team’s capabilities, operating model, and ways of working to maximize leverage across the business and ensure Corporate Strategy continues to be a high-impact partner to company leaders.
We’d love to hear from you if:
- You have 6–10+ years of experience combining strategy work (e.g., investment banking, strategic finance, consulting) with direct startup execution, and have led ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives with real ownership.
- You have built and/or scaled operating systems that meaningfully improved how an organization executes.
- You’re a first-principles thinker and problem solver who thrives in ambiguity, quickly builds context, challenges assumptions, identifies better ways of operating, and translates ideas into tangible operational change.
- You’re highly analytical and data-driven, comfortable building financial models, working with metrics, and translating insights into clear decisions and prioritization.
- You combine strategic thinking with operational rigor, able to define direction while managing complex initiatives with many moving pieces and strong attention to detail.
- You’re an exceptional cross-functional partner and communicator, able to build trust across executives, clinicians, operators, product, and technical teams while driving alignment and progress.
- You're comfortable partnering closely with Strategic Finance and the executive team on strategic planning, board materials, fundraising, and resource allocation decisions
- You thrive in high-ownership, ambiguous environments, bringing strong judgment, a bias toward action, and comfort navigating complexity as you build and scale new initiatives.
- You've been responsible for someone else's growth and development, as a manager or dotted-line lead. This is a player/coach seat, and you're excited for that.
