* Work in the Operating Room/Surgery unit of a 254-bed acute care hospital
* Day shift hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Variable/PM shift hours: 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM
* 13-week contractRequirements
* Active CA RN license, unrestricted and in good standing, required
* Current AHA BLS or ARC BLS certification required
* Current AHA ACLS and PALS certifications required
* Minimum 3 years of OR/surgical nursing experience required
* Must have worked in the OR specialty within the last 3 months
* Cerner or Epic experience must be documented in employment history
* Specialty-specific skills checklist completed within the past year required
* 2 supervisory references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
* Any gaps in employment of one month or longer must be documented and explained
* Candidates with any prior disciplinary action or hit on their nursing license will not be consideredAdditional Information
* Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, implementation, outcome evaluation, and discharge planning
* Supervises and delegates to other nursing staff and coordinates care across disciplines
* RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract - requests exceeding this will result in automatic decline
