Job Purpose

Machine Operator-Casting

Location: Willoughby,OH
Shift: 2nd Shift-3:00 PM-11:00 PM|Monday-Friday

Pay: $20,00 hr. plus $1,00 shift differential

The Casting Machine Operator is responsible for preparing material batches, operating casting and filtering equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe production environment. This role follows established formulas and procedures to ensure materials are properly mixed and processed while supporting efficient production operations.

Principal Accountabilities

• Follow established formulas, procedures, and work instructions to prepare material batches.
• Lift and transfer bags and containers of raw materials into hoppers and mixing tanks.
• Set up and operate machines to filter and process batches after mixing.
• Operate forklifts and hoists to safely transport materials throughout the facility.
• Clean and sanitize mixing tanks, press components, equipment, and work areas.
• Monitor equipment and processes to ensure materials are prepared according to specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of chemical mixing experience required.
• Ability to follow established formulas, procedures, and detailed work instructions.
• Ability to operate machinery and material-handling equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The salary for this position is $20.00 an hour. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
