Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
• Diploma completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - MultiCare Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - MultiCare Health System.

Required Skills/Experience: ABGs: draw and analyze, BiPAP, CPAP, ventilator/trach management, and knowledge of various respiratory therapies and equipment.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Neonate experience preferred.
Special Requests: Any RTO or special requests not included on your application will not be considered. You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit and shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit and facility. Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed.
Unit Details: Patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics. Will mainly work in critical care areas including ICU, ED, PCU, and NICU, but will not be the primary RT in NICU. Bubble CPAP in NICU as a secondary RT, with direction from the primary RT. Assignments use a point system. Uses N95s/PAPRs, GEM blood gas machine, Pyxis, Medtronic 980 ventilators, Draeger ventilators, LTV ventilators, and Servo NIV.
Shift & Scheduling: Must be available to work 7 days a week. No self-scheduling. Every other weekend. Open to schedule requests; manager approval is required to work 6 days in a row. Schedules are posted 2 weeks in advance, 6 weeks at a time. No call. At least one holiday required.
Floating Requirements: Expected to float through ICU, ER, and PCU. NICU during surges as a secondary RT. Inpatient rehab unit rarely.
5 days maximum time off
2 Manager references required from within the last 12 months

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
