About Us - Laboratory 

• Freeman West results over 3.53 million tests a year and issues over 550 units of blood each month

• Other Labs at Freeman include the Cornell Beshore Cancer Institute Lab and Freeman Neosho Laboratory  

• Draw stations are located inside Freeman East, the Bentlage Building and the Women’s Pavilion  

• There are over 140 employees in the Labs at Freeman and all of them are highly talented and patient-centric individuals

Full-Time, Evening Shift

What You'll Do 

Performs authorized clinical/analytic procedures, and other support procedures under guidance of the administrative director.

Requirements

• Must meet CLIA 88 standards, which includes a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs authorized laboratory analytic procedures.

• Prepares laboratory specimens for analysis.

• Correctly processes send out specimens

• Processes laboratory reports.

• Demonstrates versatility in and support for other departments of the lab operation if required.

• Proper use and management of clinic equipment and supplies.

• Accurate utilization of standing orders

• Appropriate utilization of hand hygiene and personal protective equipment.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
