Director, School-Based Services
Location: Quincy, IL
Department: School-Based Services Illinois
Employment Type: Full Time
Shift: Monday - Friday
Job Summary:
Are you a passionate leader with experience in behavioral healthcare, program management, and community partnerships? Join our mission-driven team as the Director of School-Based Services and help expand access to life-changing mental health services for children, adolescents, and families across Illinois.
In this leadership role, you will oversee the strategic direction, operational performance, and continued growth of our school-based behavioral health programs. You will partner with school districts, community stakeholders, funding sources, and internal teams to ensure high-quality, compliant, and sustainable services that meet the evolving needs of youth and families.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee fiscal performance and ensure compliance with accreditation standards, licensure, and funding sources
Identify funding opportunities and assist with grant management and invoicing
Track and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
Build and maintain stakeholder relationships including referral and funding partners
Hire, coach, supervise, and evaluate team members to support program goals and productivity
Conduct quality management reviews and field observations
Ensure accurate documentation in databases and electronic medical records
Work direct care shifts as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of relevant healthcare system experience or five (5) years of behavioral healthcare experience required
Behavioral healthcare experience in a leadership role preferred
Master’s degree preferred
Additional Qualifications:
Strong organizational and workflow development skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of evidence-based treatment for mental health and/or substance use
Proven experience with program compliance, CARF standards, and audit readiness
Ability to independently solve problems and make informed decisions
Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic health records systems
