Full job description

Mechanic I

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM


Responsibilities:

  • Inspect equipment and identify mechanical issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing
  • Repair, replace, adjust, and lubricate mechanical components

Troubleshoot and repair:

  • Pumps
  • Gearboxes
  • Drive systems
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Related mechanical equipment

Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment components

  • Operate hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop machinery
  • Conduct operational testing to verify repairs and performance

Read and follow:

  • Maintenance manuals
  • Service instructions
  • Technical documentation


Required:

  • Previous mechanical maintenance or repair experience, or equivalent technical training
  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems and repair practices
