Facility in Alton, IL seeking Lucrative General Surgery locums coverage Rates: $500/ beeper fee / nightcall plus $400/hr call back Opportunity Highlights

Coverage Dates: March 9 March 13, 2026.
Schedule: Night call only.
Call Type: Off-site; call may be taken from home or a hotel.
Response Time: 30-minute response required if called in.
EMR: Epic.

Scope of Practice

Duties: Night call for emergent General Surgery consults and procedures.
Volume: Callback frequency is historically low.
Environment: Supported by the OSF surgical team; emergency privileges are available for candidates with a clean background.

Provider Requirements

Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
Licensure: Active Illinois State License and IL CSR are required at the time of application.
Certifications: Active ACLS and BLS.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year post-residency experience.
Note: IMLC candidates will not be considered for this role.
