Senior Attorney- Premise Liability

A globally recognized law firm is seeking a senior-level insurance coverage attorney with extensive experience handling complex coverage disputes. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, independent attorney who thrives in a leadership capacity and has deep experience advising insurers on sophisticated litigation matters, including bad faith and business interruption claims. Candidates must be admitted in Texas.

Senior Attorney Responsibilities:

• Analyze first- and third-party insurance policies and provide strategic coverage advice to insurer clients
• Lead and support litigation in federal and state courts, including declaratory judgment actions and policyholder disputes
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, and mediation statements
• Manage communications with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and courts
• Oversee discovery processes, including drafting requests, managing productions, and reviewing large document sets
• Conduct and defend depositions, participate in hearings and mediations, and manage expert involvement

Senior Attorney Requirements:

• Admission to the Texas bar with 10+ years of relevant insurance coverage experience
• Strong background in insurance coverage litigation (bad faith and business interruption experience preferred)
• Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills
• Proven ability to independently manage cases and take on leadership responsibilities
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel as needed
