Full job description
We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Madera, CA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for everyday life. Apply and a recruiter will reach out with details.
Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
- Active California COTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facilities or long-term care preferred.
- Experience with ADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and mobility assistance preferred.
- Ability to follow treatment plans developed by an Occupational Therapist and document patient progress in electronic medical records.
