Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: UPMC (SimplifyVMS) Direct Program and no current placement allowed at Program: UPMC (SimplifyVMS) Direct Program.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: IR experience accepted.

Preferred Skills/Experience: At least 1 year of cath lab experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology

Special Requests: Clinicians may be eligible for an earlier start date if they have recent PA fingerprint results and PA Child Abuse Clearance results (obtained within <5 years).

Unit Details: Assists physicians with scrubbing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization cases and may support other departments with general radiographic procedures as needed. Uses the GE fluoroscopy table and Imagecast. High acuity lab performing right/left heart caths, PCIs, complex PCIs, mechanical support, and structural heart procedures; STEMI center. Parking: Free near campus, shuttle to hospital (0.5 mile from hospital)

Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri schedule; primarily daylight with call into evenings/nights. 24/7 call coverage on weeknights, weekends, and holidays; 18 call shifts in 8 weeks (1-2 days/week, 2-3 weekends). Weeknight call begins at 530p-7am following morning. Weekend call starts Fri 530p-7a Monday.

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certifications CI, RCES
