Supply Chain Specialist

Company:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist (Level 3 or 4) to join the Aircraft on Ground (AOG) Incident Repair team in Everett, Washington or Renton, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support suppliers by identifying constraints and assist with mitigation plans

  • Assist in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities and capacity

  • Manage multiple concurrent deadlines

  • Assess and analyze demand for AOG Incident Repair

  • Review and decipher engineering data for alternate problem resolution

  • Act as a liaison with multiple stakeholders to accomplish a common objective

  • Delegates tasks to manage workload

  • Engage in cross-functional communications to deliver concise and timely results

  • Adapt within a fast-changing and high-stress work environment

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Must be willing and able to work any shift (Must be able and willing to work various shifts and/or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirements and may include weekends and holidays; mission requirements and/or workload may require both scheduled and unscheduled required work.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 

  • 5+ years of experience working in Material Management Services (MMS) or Supply Chain

  • 5+ years of experience in identifying and communicating business requirements with cross-functional and/or cross-business teams

  • 3+ years’ experience with ERP and CRM systems, such as SAP and/or Salesforce

  • Must be willing and able to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 

  • Level 4: 9+ years of experience working in Material Management Services (MMS) or Supply Chain

  • 9+ years of experience in identifying and communicating business requirements with cross-functional and/or cross-business teams

  • 6+ years’ experience with ERP and CRM systems, such as SAP and/or Salesforce

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience

  • Previous experience working urgent requirements with the BGS Organization

  • Experience in implementing process improvements and an applied understanding of LEAN practices (e.g. Six Sigma)

  • Experience applying effective verbal and written communications skills including spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style, proof reading and editing skills

  • Must have high attention to detail, be a self-starter, and results driven

  • Experience in aerospace support, supply chain management, and logistics planning

  • Basic proficiency in aerospace industry knowledge

  • Creative problem solving skills

  • Basic technical and engineering background

  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Summary Pay Range:

Level 3: $96,050 - $113,000

Level 4: $120,700 - $142,000
