Full job description
Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots. The goal of the company is to ship humanoid robots with human level intelligence. Its robots are engineered to perform a variety of tasks in the home and commercial markets. Figure is headquartered in San Jose, CA.
We are looking for a TeleOps Quality Support specialist to help us maintain the standard of data our pilots collect. You will review teleop data collection sessions, identify quality issues, and produce assessment reports that give team leaders clear, actionable insight into pilot performance. Your work directly shapes how the AI team trains our robots.
Responsibilities:
- Review teleop data collection sessions against established quality standards
- Identify and document issues including technique inconsistencies, incomplete sequences, and edge-case scenarios
- Produce qualitative assessment reports for team leaders to deliver to the pilot team
- Collaborate with the AI and pilot teams to refine quality criteria over time
- Track quality trends across shifts and flag systemic issues early
- Maintain high throughput and consistent evaluation quality across large review batches
- Contribute feedback on workflow improvements and tool enhancements
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to apply consistent evaluation logic across diverse scenarios
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable navigating computer-based tools and quickly learning new software
- Patient, quality-focused mindset with the ability to juggle multiple assignments
- Reliable, self-motivated work style and a collaborative spirit within a fast-paced environment
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience in QA, data review, or operations in a tech or robotics environment
- Familiarity with video or motion data
- A passion for helping scale the deployment of learning humanoid robots
This is a six-month fixed-term agreement, with potential for longer-term opportunities depending on your contributions and interests.
The hourly rate for this full-time position starts at $30/hr.
