Full job description

Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in foam and insulation products, is seeking a HR Admin to join their team. As a HR Admin, you will be part of the Human Resources department supporting the Gresham, OR plant. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, organizational ability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Part- Time HR Admin

Location: Portland, OR

Pay Range: $36.00/ Hourly

Shift: Part time, Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm

What's the Job?

  • Maintain accurate employee records, including supporting new hire processes and updating employment documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with file retention policies and process new hire files and I-9 documentation.
  • Create physical and digital employee folders, ensuring proper filing of required documents.
  • Assist in onboarding, including scheduling and managing pending hires and new employee orientation.
  • Support payroll processing through UKG system and manage timecard reviews for hourly employees.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-3 years of HR experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
