Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2220 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Symmetry Workforce Solutions - Jefferson Health Program.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Telemetry monitoring experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Shift & Scheduling: Every third weekend required. One summer and one winter holiday required. No call.

Floating Requirements: Travelers will float between two units based on unit needs, including 3Thompson.

Unit Details: Adult patient population. Patients are typically Hospital Medicine, Gyn Oncology, and Maternal Fetal Medicine patients with a wide range of medical diagnoses. Frequently cares for patients with complex medical needs, including substance use disorders and withdrawal management, behavioral and complex social needs, and gastrointestinal, respiratory, and sepsis management. Mid-flow, high-flow (Opti flow), and CPAP therapies are managed on the unit. Stable ventilator-dependent and tracheostomy patients may be cared for on the unit. Includes drain, tube, and line management, enteral nutrition, multiple infusion therapies, and ongoing care coordination and education. Virtual nursing support includes patient education, staff workflow assistance, and purposeful rounding.
