Eng. Lab / TAG Scheduler:

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our planning team, supporting critical laboratory processes.  In this essential role, you will serve as part of a team, scheduling test and automation requests. You will work collaboratively with New Product Development - NPD, Reliability Engineering, Lab Technicians and Leadership, communicating schedule, risk and alternative solutions for maintaining schedule.  The position is vital to maintaining NPD schedules.   

You will be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:  

  • Ensure alignment of NPD schedules and test lab delivery.
  • Effective at establishing accurate schedules.
  • Maintain agility in team commitments.
  • Analyze project risks.
  • Provide assessments to leadership included Cost, Schedule, Delivery, Performance and Safety.
  • Provide clear, concise communication to stakeholders and upper management on status, technical details, risk, and risk mitigation proposals.
  • Responsible for maintaining project metrics surrounding intake, delivery, complexity, resource loading and agreed upon completion dates.
  • Consistently visualizes entire scope of a project.
  • Coordinate with North America labs on global initiatives related to planning.
  • Frame scope discussions surrounding test system requirements in collaboration with NPD, Test Lab, and Reliability Engineers
  • Communicate with vendors for procurement of material, costing, and schedule.
  • Identify areas of continuous improvement across global labs and automation.

What TOOLS you’ll bring with you:  

  • Bachelor of Science Degree
  • Minimum 1-3 years in related field
  • Proven history of managing low-moderate complexity projects and/or subsystems of larger projects.
  • Must have a working understanding of a wide variety of technologies associated with Milwaukee products.
  • Understanding data structures, processes, and metrics in lab operations
  • Understanding of work breakdown structures, Gantts, and RASICs
  • Proficient in the use of project planning software
