We are looking for an Associate IT Specialist to join our IT operations team at Harbinger Motors. We are a rapidly growing company with a dynamic team, seeking a versatile individual who can adapt to various roles and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a strong eagerness to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and software
- Respond to service requests and incidents in a professional manner while meeting the designated SLA
- Prepare and deploy freshly provisioned computers
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including laptops, desktops, and accessories
- Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware and software components, including operating systems, drivers, and applications
- Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a desktop support or helpdesk role
- Familiarity with desktop hardware components, peripherals, and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to
non-technical users
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and common desktop applications such as Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Office.
- Able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted.

- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or similar are a plus
