Full job description

The Primary Care Physician is responsible for providing high-quality Internal Medicine and/or Family Practice services to patients in a value-based care environment, with a focus on prevention, care coordination, and improved health outcomes.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care by interviewing, examining, diagnosing, and treating patients

  • Deliver patient-centered primary care with an emphasis on wellness, prevention, and early detection

  • Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies

  • Coordinate referrals and specialty care based on clinical assessment and patient needs

  • Participate in continuing medical education and CareMore clinical programs

  • Assist in resolving patient complaints, requests, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner

  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with federal, state, and organizational guidelines

  • Complete accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) on a daily basis


Qualifications & Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school

  • Current, unrestricted medical license in the applicable state(s)

  • Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice

  • Active DEA license

  • Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis (TB) test
