Job Description
As a Youth Facility Security Officer - Check Driver in Ridgeville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, control access, and support daily operations with strong communication and customer service. In this driving post, you will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering a professional presence. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Monitor entrances and exits, verify identification and authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access by following established post orders and reporting protocols.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site personnel and public agency representatives as needed.
- Document visitor activity, deliveries, and security-related incidents in logs and reports, maintaining accurate records for the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- COLA: DPSS/DHS – Tuberculosis test/MMR vaccinations are required.
- A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
