Position Overview

Valley Baptist Health is hiring Registered Nurses for multiple Medical/Surgical units. This is an excellent opportunity to gain acute care experience with pathways to ICU and advanced practice roles in a collaborative, family-oriented culture.

Available Units

• Medical/Surgical – 42 beds
• Oncology – 42 beds
• Neuro Med/Surg – 32 beds
• Ortho Med/Surg – 25 beds

Patient Population

• Adult Medical/Surgical patients

Staffing Ratios

• Med/Surg & Oncology: 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with 4 nurse aides
• Ortho & Neuro Med/Surg: 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with 2–3 nurse aides

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum Experience: 6–8 months RN experience
• Preferred: 1+ year RN experience
• ADN or BSN required
• BLS certification required

Schedule

• Full-time
• 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Day & Night shifts available
• Rotating weekends
• No on-call requirement

Shift Differentials

• Nights: +$3.50/hr
• Evenings: +$2.50/hr
• Weekends: +$4.00/hr

Incentives

• Sign-on Bonus
  • 6+ months RN experience: $15,000 (paid over 2 years)
  • New Graduate RN: $7,500 (paid quarterly over 1 year)
• Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis
