Job Title: Machine Operator / Production Associate

📍 Smyrna, TN
💲 $20.00-21.00 per hour
🕒 Full-Time
1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift available

Job Overview

We are currently hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator / Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. This position involves operating production equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate manufacturing equipment including:
    • Resistance welding machines
    • Brake presses and mechanical power presses
    • Saws, drills, and grinders
  • Monitor machine operations and identify malfunctions; perform minor adjustments as needed
  • Ensure all finished products meet quality and specification standards
  • Pack finished materials into dunnage and prepare for shipment
  • Load and unload materials and equipment
  • Complete production tickets, process monitoring documentation, and reports accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Consistently meet daily production goals

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 2 years of manufacturing or production experience
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under close supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to perform physical work including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, industrial environment

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing setting with exposure to:
    • Machinery, noise, and temperature fluctuations
    • Moving equipment and production lines
  • Requires physical activity including standing, walking, lifting, and bending throughout the shift
  • No travel required
