Travel Job Summary:

Physical Therapist Outpatient in La Mesa, California. This contract position involves evaluating and treating patients with various musculoskeletal injuries in an outpatient clinic setting. The role requires collaboration with medical teams and reporting patient progress to physicians, including orthopedic surgeons and hand surgeons.

Job Details:

Position: Physical Therapist Outpatient

Location: La Mesa, California

Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week

Start Date: 08/24/2026

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, current license for the state of practice, 14 years of experience, experience treating spains/strains/fractures, experience practicing as a physical therapist for at least 2 years, and experience treating 14-16 patients per day.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience treating musculoskeletal injuries and outpatient orthopedic injuries.

Additional Information: Contract physical therapists will treat outpatient orthopedic injuries in a clinic setting while working in conjunction with a team of therapists. Complete evaluation and treatment of patients, effective communication of treatment plans, and reporting patient progress to physicians are integral to this role. Float within the SD market as needed.
